This article provides a detailed analysis of the concept of sustainable development and its importance in addressing contemporary global issues. It highlights the need to moderate such challenges as the depletion of natural resources, ecological crises, social inequality, and economic disparity on the basis of the principles of sustainable development.
The article emphasizes the significance of socio-ecological culture, demonstrating the necessity of achieving sustainable development through ecological ethics, conscious activity, and rational management of resources. It is noted that the education system, family upbringing, and mass media play an important role in shaping environmental responsibility.
The study presents strategic approaches in the areas of integrating ecological and economic principles, conserving natural resources, developing alternative energy sources, and protecting the environment. The role of mass media in raising ecological awareness is also analyzed separately.
