Zoonyms play an important role in children's literature, serving to enrich the imagination of young readers, instill moral values, and form their worldview. The names given to animals play an important role not only in revealing the character of the characters, but also in enlivening events and creating artistic images. This article analyzes the functional and semantic properties of zoonyms in children's literature, their educational and psychological impact.
