This study explores the principles of humanity in Mikhail Lermontov's literary oeuvre, focusing on themes such as identity, love, death, and social injustice. Through a qualitative analysis of key texts, including "A Hero of Our Time" and various poems, the research highlights Lermontov's profound insights into the human condition. His characters grapple with existential dilemmas, reflecting the universal search for meaning amidst societal constraints. Lermontov's critique of social norms and his exploration of emotional complexities underscore the enduring relevance of his work, inviting readers to engage in introspection and empathy in their own lives.
