This article explores the linguistic and linguopragmatic characteristics of the concept of "respect" within the Uzbeki language. Respect plays a fundamental role in communication and social interactions across cultures. In the Uzbeki language, it is intricately linked to social values and norms. The study aims to analyze how respect is encoded linguistically in Uzbeki, examining both the lexical and syntactic strategies that speakers use to express respect in different contexts. Furthermore, the linguopragmatic aspect of respect will be analyzed to understand its role in interpersonal relationships and societal structures.
