Abstract

This article talks about ways to use the most optimal method of developing professional competence through the portrait genre in the educational process, the current stage of reforms related to the modernization of education, the problem of adaptation to professional activity. The issues of training specialists capable of carrying out the activities of professional competence development in educational and cultural institutions are highlighted, they can draw the conclusions necessary for the portrait genre from the educational material, they can summarize the educational information, the future visual arts o development of professional competence and pedagogical-psychological conditions of teachers through portrait painting.
