Abstract

This article analyzes the artistic mastery of character creation and the features of psychological depiction in Sh. Seytov’s novel “After the Duck Slaughter.” The work is considered an important example of Karakalpak literature that reflects the complex historical processes of the period of repression and exile. Special attention is given to the inner world of the characters, their emotional experiences, and inner conflicts. The study examines such artistic devices as internal monologue, dialogue, portrait, and landscape, which play a crucial role in creating the psychological depth of the work. The article also explores the system of characters and their role in revealing the ideological and aesthetic content of the novel.
